Youth Strategies Program

Provides programs and services to prevent and reduce juvenile substance abuse, juvenile delinquency, and to address the needs of juveniles involved in or at risk of entering the juvenile justice system.

Multisystemic Therapy

Multisystemic Therapy is an intensive family and community based treatment model that addresses the multiple determinants of serious antisocial behavior in juvenile offenders. The multisystemic approach views individuals as being nested within a complex network of interconnected systems that encompass individual, family and extrafamilial (peer, school, neighborhood) factors.

Youth Service Bureaus

Youth Service Bureaus (YSBs) are community based, multi-service prevention programs serving youth and families. All YSBs are either incorporated non-profits with Boards of Directors, or they are considered part of local government and have advisory boards.

The youth served are those who are at risk of becoming delinquent because of their behaviors and circumstances and youth who have committed minor delinquencies. Referrals are accepted from schools, parents, the Department of Juvenile Services, police, self, other agencies and friends. Call (301) 265-8446 to learn more.
