Applying & Submitting Applications

Applicants must submit a Prince George's County Government Application Form for all County jobs. We encourage you to submit your application using our on-line application form. Some positions will require that you mail or fax your application in order to submit such documents as certificates, licenses and driving records.

The Office of Human Resources Management must receive completed employment applications by 5 p.m. Eastern time on the closing date listed on the job announcement. Any late application shall not be processed.

Applications may be submitted in one of the following ways:

  • On-line: Prince George's County Office of Human Resources Management is able to receive applications via the On-line Application Form. In each announcement, you will notice an "Apply on-line" button through which you may send in your application.
  • By mail or In person: Applications can be delivered in person or mailed to:

    from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
  • By fax: You may fax your application and resume and other requested information at 301-883-6468.

Applicant Responsibility

  • The applicant shall be held responsible for the accuracy and integrity of information submitted.
  • Applicants are required to submit a separate application for each announcement regardless of perceived similarity in nature and variety of job, classification, minimum qualification and Department/Agency.

County Responsibility

  • The County reserves the right to withdraw announcements at anytime and without notice.
  • The County does not guarantee the quality and completeness of documents submitted.
