Family Services Committees

  1. Aging Advisory Committee

    The Advisory Committee on Aging has oversight of all aging programs to ensure that the goals and objectives are met and reflect the needs of seniors residing in Prince George’s County.

  2. Commission for Children, Youth & Families

    The mission of the Prince George's County Commission for Children, Youth and Families is to enhance the quality of life for children, youth, and families in Prince George's County, Maryland.

  3. Commission for Individuals With Disabilities

    The Commission works to approve accessibility, community services, employment, housing, transportation, education, and recreation services to citizens of Prince George's County.

  4. Commission for Veterans

    The mission of the Commission for Veterans is to elevate, develop and promote new and existing programs and services for Veterans and their families within Prince George’s County.

  5. Commission for Women

    The Prince George's County Commission for Women advises the residents of the County, the County Council, the County Executive, and various departments of local, state, and federal government on matters that influence the well being of women.

  6. Social Services Board​

    This board has several responsibilities, including advising the local director and the State Board as to the local application of State policies or procedures.
