Eligibility Guidelines

Qualifying for Benefits
To be eligible for WIC, applicants must:
  • Live in Maryland
  • Be a woman who is pregnant or a new mother who delivers a baby less than a year
  • Be an infant or child under 5 years of age
  • Meet program income guidelines below
  • Be at-risk for a nutritional problem determined by WIC staff during your certification
