The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred inCapitol Heights, Maryland.
On today’s date, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded to the 6900 block of Walker Mill Road for a citizen report
of shots being fired. When officers arrived, they found the victim,18-year-old Nathan Baxter Benson, of the 7100 block of Silverton Court in District Heights,dead on the scene. The victim’s body was then transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
There are no detailed descriptions of the suspect(s) and a motive has not been established.
