Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred inChillum, Maryland.
On March 19, 2005, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the victim was standing in the 5700 block of Eastern Avenue when the suspect
approached, produced a gun and shot him multiple times.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect fled the scene on foot.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old William Kenneth Bennett of the 1000 block of Chillum Road. His body was sent
to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, Maryland for an autopsy.
There are no suspects and a motive has not been established.
