Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred inCamp Springs
,
Maryland.
On January 28, 2005, at approximately 11:00 p.m., police responded to the 6300 block of Maxwell Drive for the report of a
stabbing.
When officers arrived, they discovered an adult male inside of an apartment, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the
upper body.
The victim was transported to Prince George’s Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The victim has been identified as 27-year old Keith Walston, of the 6300 block of Maxwell Drive.
Police believe that Mr. Walston was shot by the suspect(s) as he answered a knock at his door; however, there is no suspect
description and a motive has not been determined.
