Prince George’s County, Maryland… The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred inOxon Hill , Maryland.
On April 23, 2004, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to the 6200 block of Livingston Road in Oxon Hill, Maryland
for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they discovered the victim lying in the parking lot of the Popeye’s
restaurant; he had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators learned that the victim was inside the restaurant when he became
involved in an argument with the suspect. The argument continued outside where the suspect produced a gun and shot the victim
multiple times. After the shooting, the suspect fled the area. No one else was injured. The victim has been identified
as 22-year-old Kevin Braxton of Oxon Hill, Maryland.
A suspect has not been identified and it is not clear why the victim and suspect were arguing. Anyone with information about

at 1-800-673-2777. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of
the suspect. The investigation is continuing.
