County Executive Releases List Of School Board Candidates

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Prince George’s County Executive Jack Johnson today released the list of 39 candidates who have applied for the vacated position on the Prince George’s County Board of Education.

Johnson will select from the list of candidates a nominee and will forward his recommendation to the Prince George’s County Council for consideration before its August recess. Johnson said the credentials of all of the candidates will be considered and he hopes to interview the finalists during the week of July 16. He expects to provide to the County Council the names of his selection that week.
