Prince George’s County, Maryland …The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Ames Road.
On December 23, 2005, at approximately 8:40 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Ames Road for the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they discovered the victim, 39-year-old Froilan Cuellar Martinez of the 100 block of Ames Road, inside
an apartment with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators believe the victim was inside an apartment when several suspects forced their way inside and began shooting.
The victim was shot multiple times and another male (who was also inside the apartment) was shot once in the arm. His injuries
are not life threatening. There are no detailed descriptions of the suspects and a motive has not been established.
