Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on University Blvd.
On December 9, 2005, at approximately 7:00 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of University Blvd. for the report of
a shooting. When they arrived, officers discovered the victim, 23-year-old Jose Richard Escoto of the 7000 block of Riggs
Road, with a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced
dead. Investigators have no motive or description of the suspect(s) yet.
The Police Department is asking anyone with information about this case to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s
