Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on
Cree Drive.
On November 16, 2005, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the victim, 73-year-old Hermann Haiss, was found dead inside his house on
Cree Drive by a relative who went to check on his welfare. According to the relative, the victim had not been seen or heard
from since yesterday afternoon and that was unusual. The victim’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical
Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy. Investigators have determined that foul play is involved however; the cause of death
is not being released.
The Police Department is asking anyone with information about this case to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s
