Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on 68th Avenue.
On November 12, 2005, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded to the 4600 block of 68th Avenue for the report of a
shooting. When they arrived, officers found the victim, 30-year-old Richard Anthony Karis of the 3800 block of 71st Avenue,
with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A second victim, who is only being identified as a 26-year-old
man, was also shot multiple times, he was in stable condition when transported to a local hospital. A motive has not yet been
determined.
The Police Department is asking anyone with information about this case to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s
