Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on
September 30, 2005.
At approximately 8:55 p.m., officers responded to the 5200 block of Indian Head Highway for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found 25-year-old Darren Allen Mahoney, of the 5000 block of Jay Street, N.E., Washington, DC, with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was pronounced dead at Prince George’s Hospital Center. The decedent was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical
Examiner in Baltimore, Maryland for an autopsy. There are no detailed descriptions of the suspects.
