Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department has arrested and charged 28 year old
Dontrell Harrison with the murder of his father, 51 year old Donald Harrison who was killed on 64th Avenue.
On November 12, 2006, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of 64th Avenue after witnesses
called 911 for the report of an altercation between the victim and his son. When officers arrived, they discovered the victim
inside his house suffering from injuries sustained during the altercation. He was transported to a nearby hospital where
he died a short time later. His son fled the scene prior to police arriving.
Several hours later, the suspect turned himself in to detectives at the Criminal Investigations Division where he
was charged with First Degree Murder. He was remanded to the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, Maryland with no
bond.
