The Prince George's County Police Department has identified the victim of the homicide that occurred on Brockton Road
as 50-year-old Joseph Lee White of the 300 block of Brockton Road.
On June 9, 2006, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Prince George's County police responded to the 300 block of Brockton Road
for the report of a suspicious death. When officers arrived, they spoke with a man who stated he was at the house to do maintenance
when he found the victim inside the residence deceased.
There are no suspects and investigators are working on establishing a motive. Anyone with information about this case
is asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit at (301) 772-4925. Callers wishing to remain
anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. A cash reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for the tip that leads
to the arrest and indictment of the suspect(s).
