Prince George's County Police Department
Neighborhood Crime Mapping
In conjunction with the Office of Information Technology - GIS section, the Prince George's County Police Department has integrated the crime mapping reported information into the ArcIMS mapping tool. ArcIMS provides the foundation for distributing high-end geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping services via the Internet. By launching the ArcIMS viewer, you can view the Crime Mapping in your area, for the last three months (90 days).
Using the tool bar provided, you can zoom in and out, gather information about a specific area, query specific information and even print the displayed area. Below is a screen shot of the GIS ArcIMS Mapping tool.
